Life leaves its mark on us all — moments that shake our foundations, leaving cracks that, in time, can become healed scars. My Womb Women sculptures carry these fissures as symbols of resilience and transformation. If you wish, I can highlight them with gold, in the spirit of Kintsugi, to honour their beauty rather than hide them.

Each figure is a tribute to the strength and wisdom carried by women through all generations. She may remind you of a mother or grandmother, hold the shared struggles and triumphs of your lineage, or reflect your own story. Perhaps she will carry the quiet power of the ancient mother that resides within us all.

Each Small Womb Woman is individually formed, smoothed, glazed, and fired — solid clay, made to be held, most fitting snugly in the palm of your hand.

✨ Inspired by Stories
Some are shaped with questions in mind — wide or narrow hips, a tilted head, a growing belly, or a form that honours life’s journeys. Others simply emerge in quiet, reflective moments.

💌 Choosing Yours
Your choice may be deeply intentional or purely spontaneous. If you’d like help choosing, share your story with me, and I’ll select the one that feels closest to your request.

🚚 Sending Her Home
She’ll be carefully packed and should arrive with you within 10 days (NZ) or 2 weeks (international).

If she arrives damaged, I’ll cover return postage and arrange a refund, credit, or replacement (just send me photos of what happened).

🚚FULL RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

I want you to be delighted with your sculpture. Each piece is made with care, and I take every precaution to ensure it arrives safely. However, because these artworks are one-of-a-kind, returns are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds, Credits, or Replacements may be offered if:

You contact me within 7 days of receiving your sculpture. Please email me at info@artworkbylisacorston.co.nz with your order details.

Your sculpture arrives damaged due to postage. Clear photo evidence of the damage (including packaging) is required.

You are dissatisfied with your purchase of a Small Womb Woman — I am happy to help you choose another Small Womb Woman of equal value that better suits your original request. This is a one-time replacement only.

Postage costs:

If your sculpture was damaged in transit, I will cover the cost of return postage.

If your reason for return or replacement is dissatisfaction, you will be responsible for the return postage.

Please note:

Because each piece is handmade and unique, slight variations in texture, glaze, or form are part of their character and are not considered defects.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refunds will be processed once the returned item is received in its original condition.

Custom or commissioned sculptures cannot be returned unless damaged in transit.

Processing Time

Each sculpture is personally chosen and packaged by me. For Small Womb Women, I take a couple of days to select the one that best meets your request before sending her on her way.

Please allow:

Up to 10 working days for delivery within New Zealand.

Up to 2 weeks for international delivery (this may vary depending on customs and destination).

If you need your order urgently, please contact me when placing your order — or before — so I can confirm whether your timeline is possible.

Postage Costs

Within New Zealand (Urban & Rural) – sent with NZ Couriers:

1–2 Womb Women: $7.00

3–5 Womb Women: $10.00

6 or more Womb Women: $15.00

International Postage:
Overseas postage is currently calculated manually — please contact me for a shipping quote before placing your order. I’m working on making this process easier.
